As an Assistant Organizer, you'll be assisting lead organizers on the job.  Every member of our team must be organized, detail-oriented, and a team player.  We have fun, listen to each others’ voices and opinions, and work fast.  Each member of the team must be able to learn quickly, be flexible when necessary, and love the process of helping others get organized.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Must be detail oriented and passionate about creating order in our clients' homes

  • Must be willing to learn The Arranged Abode approach to organizing spaces

  • Must be a team player and strong problem solver

  • Must be able to drive and have reliable transportation

  • Must be able to carry items up to 25lbs

  • Must have a reliable cell phone for scheduling and client communication

  • Must live in the Wake County, North Carolina area

  • Must pass a thorough background check


Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting lead organizers on jobs in client homes and businesses

  • Providing multi-faceted support to our team and clients through organizing, decluttering, packing, and unpacking tasks

  • Interacting with clients in a professional manner while on the job site

  • Helping dispose of donations and trash at the end of a client project


You are the right fit if:

  • You do not need to be micromanaged. When assigned a task, we have the expectation that it gets done correctly and on time.

  • You are willing to fulfill tasks like breaking down boxes and taking out the trash - it's not all glamourous!

  • You are kind, compassionate, and respectful

Availability:  Monday - Friday 9:30am-3:30pm on a consistent basis (not including travel time to get to clients)

This position typically works 5-15 hours per week.
